Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking an estimator to review plans, gather take-off data, and prepare bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects. You will manage routine and detailed cost estimates under supervision while maintaining supplier price data and using standard estimation software.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, landscaping industry familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in the landscaping industry, with estimating and managing landscape and irrigation projects.
• Experience with HCSS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, calculate, and compile take-off data for use in bid proposal estimates.
• Prepare routine estimates and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects under the supervision of the manager.
• Maintain current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Utilize standard estimate computer software to present information to management.
• Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity.
