Job summary

Landscape East & West is seeking a landscape construction/installation foreman with 7+ years of experience. A $1,000 Hiring Bonus is available after 120 days. You will lead crew members on diverse site tasks, read plans, and ensure safety and quality while coordinating with the project manager.

Responsibilities include site prep, grading, drainage, irrigation, hardscapes, plantings and lighting, plus inspections and training. English/Spanish bilingualism is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of landscape construction experience.
• 3-5 years leading a landscape crew.
• Experience operating heavy equipment listed above.
• Ability to read and understand plan drawings.
• Plant identification and bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Valid, insurable driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Demo existing landscape and prep sites per plan.
• Grade, install drainage and irrigation as required.
• Install hardscapes (pavers, walls, pathways) and lighting.
• Plant, supervise crew, and ensure tasks follow the plan.
• Inspect equipment and vehicles; coordinate with PM.

Job Overview

Landscape East & West is a full-service award winning, eco-friendly, customer focused landscape contractor. We are seeking landscape construction/installation foreman with 7+ years of landscape construction experience. *$1,000 Hiring Bonus after 120 days*

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform various tasks such as demo of existing landscape, site preparation and grading, drainage installation, irrigation installation, natural stone and concrete paver hardscapes (such as paths, walls, patios), plantings, lighting, and other elements per the landscape plan. Communicate and take direction from the project manager. Direct crew members on site to complete tasks per production plan. Assist with training new crew members. Complete equipment & vehicle inspections. Operate truck & trailer.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of landscape construction experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in leading landscape construction crew.
• Knowledge and operating experience with as Dingo, skid steer, excavator, trencher, cut-off saws, and other hand held equipment.
• Ability to read and understand plan drawings.
• Plant identification.
• Ability to manage, communicate effectively with both employees and onsite contacts - bilingual in English & Spanish.
• Possess a valid, insurable drivers license.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 90 lbs repeatedly throughout work day. Able to navigate through clients property on uneven/rough terrain. Able to drive company vehicle with trailer.

Position Range: $35+
