Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Columbus, OH is seeking Landscape Architecture students for an on-site internship in our Columbus office. This role offers hands-on experience across site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic production.

Interns will use software such as Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Excel to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables while learning regulations and the firm’s standards through collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• In the process of receiving a Landscape Architecture Degree (Bachelors or Masters)

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables.
• Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic production.
• Projects can include land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and residential development, streetscapes, design guidelines, parks and public facilities.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state and local regulations, and Kimley-Horn's practices and standards.
