Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Landscape Architecture students to join our Fort Collins, Colorado office. This is not a remote position and interns will support project teams by analyzing data, preparing drawings, and QCing deliverables for clients.

You’ll contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic production across land planning, streetscapes, parks and redevelopment. You will learn one or more software programs including Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator,

Qualifications

In the process of receiving a Landscape Architecture Degree (Bachelors or Masters).

Responsibilities

Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
Projects can include land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and all types of residential development, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure design, parks, and other community facility design.
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients’ visions for the built environment.
Develop familiarity with regulations at federal, state, and local levels, and with Kimley-Horn’s, as well as client’s practices and standards.
Analysts will learn one or more software programs: Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.
