Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern – Landscape Architecture + Planning to join its collaborative team in Chicago, IL or Pittsburgh, PA. This role provides planning, design and permitting assistance on a variety of landscapes and planning projects, offering exposure to urban revitalization, streetscapes, retail, healthcare, and educational environments.

You will gain hands-on experience across disciplines, working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Rhino, Photoshop and Excel.

Qualifications

• Creative thinking and design sensibility for landscape planning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across disciplines.
• Proficiency with design software and graphic tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design and permitting of landscape architecture and related projects.
• Support zoning, permit assessments, and feasibility analyses based on data.
• Prepare and modify design documents, reports, plans and schedules.
