Langan invites a motivated student to join our San Jose, CA team as an Intern/Co-op – Landscape Architecture + Planning. You will assist with planning, design and permitting on diverse landscape architecture and land development projects, gaining hands-on experience across urban revitalization, streetscape, campuses and healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Prior internship experience preferred.
• GPA of 3.0+ preferred.
• Proficient with design software AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Landscape Architecture team with planning, design and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects using design, engineering and graphic software.
• Assist with zoning, ordinance and permit assessments and feasibility analyses based on data.
• Support preparation and modification of design and engineering documents including reports, plans and cost estimates.
• Assess soils, terrain, hydrology and topo data and their impact on planning and design.
• Perform other duties as requested.
