ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking an established Land Planner/Landscape Architecture Group Manager in Huntersville, NC.

This leadership role oversees staffing, supervision, and growth across the Huntersville studio, with a focus on land planning and landscape architecture projects for the region. The candidate will drive business development, lead proposals, manage client relations, and mentor staff while coordinating with public officials and planning boards on complex master plans and

Qualifications

• A degree in Landscape Architecture or Planning from an accredited program preferred.
• Professional registration as a Landscape Architect or Certified Planner.
• 8+ years of professional Land Planning / Landscape Architecture experience with a diverse and dynamic portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of land development design, site and master planning, CD/CA oversight.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and direction of Landscape Architecture and Planning team in the Huntersville office.
• Partnering with clients to advance master plans / small area or corridor plans, develop site plans, manage rezoning and entitlement processes.
• Manage design development, preparation/administration of contract documents, cost estimates, agency correspondence, client relations, staff supervision and mentoring.
• Build the team and drive overall growth of the department.
• Present to public officials and planning boards, including public engagement.
• Lead business development and marketing, including client networking, proposals, and backlog reporting.
• Oversee project contracts, invoicing, and financial reporting.
