Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Terrell, Texas is seeking Landscape Architecture graduates to join our local office. This is an on-site role focused on site planning, urban and landscape design, and production across a variety of projects.

You'll work with a team to analyze deliverables, QC work, and develop familiarity with applicable regulations while gaining hands-on experience with industry software such as Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Projects include land planning, urban design, redevelopment, mixed-use and residential development, streetscapes, public infrastructure, parks.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.

• Learn software such as Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Landscape Architecture graduates to join our Terrell, Texas (TX) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
• Contribute to the site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
• Projects can include land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and all types of residential development, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure design, parks, and other community facility design.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Analysts will learn one or more software programs: Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Landscape Architecture (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.
