Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking landscape architecture graduates to join our Scottsdale, AZ office. This is not a remote position.

The role focuses on site planning, urban and landscape design, and producing client deliverables with a team of professionals. Responsibilities include learning and applying software for analysis, drafting, and production while collaborating across disciplines to realize the client’s vision for the built environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture (Bachelors or Masters) due by Summer 2027.
• Willingness to learn software tools used for site planning, design, and production.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients using technical software.
• Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and production.
• Assist with land planning, urban design, redevelopment, and parks projects.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for built environments.
• Learn regulatory practices and company procedures to ensure compliant design output.

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Landscape Architecture graduates to join our Scottsdale,Arizona(AZ)office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
• Contribute to the site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
• Projects can include land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and all types of residential development, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure design, parks, and other community facility design.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Analysts will learn one or more software programs: Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Landscape Architecture (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.
