Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and two years of landscape architecture or design experience (or equivalent).
  • Must possess Texas Landscape Architect License and a valid Texas driver’s license.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and/or post-offer physical may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Review development plans for landscaping, tree preservation, irrigation and surveys.
  • Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with landscape ordinances.
  • Communicate with architects, engineers, developers, and owners to promote tree preservation.
  • Assist in education programs and community outreach on landscape topics.
  • Provide landscape design guidance including screening and native plant use.
