Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership with planning, design and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development and planning projects.
• Coordinate with staff to prepare site work cost estimates, zoning analyses and determine project feasibility.
• Write and review draft reports including feasibility studies, proposals and specifications.
• Plan, schedule and develop task and project budgets; prepare progress reports and change orders.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules and deadlines; monitor budgets and timelines.
• Provide oversight and management of staff for assigned projects; coach and motivate staff.
• Stay current on practices, regulations and best management practices; attend internal training.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist discipline leadership with the planning, design and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development and planning projects
• Coordinate and work with staff to prepare site work cost estimates, zoning analyses and determine the feasibility of projects based on the analysis of collected data
• Write and review draft reports, including feasibility studies, proposals, and technical specifications
• Plan, schedule and develop task and project budgets. Prepare progress reports and draft change orders
• Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Monitor budgets, schedules, and project timelines. Minimize write-offs by keeping projects on budget
• Provide direct oversight and management of staff and senior staff for specific project assignments
• Coach, train and motivate staff
• Remain current on landscape architecture practices, guidelines, regulations, and best management practices and attend internal training to expand knowledge and skills
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
• 6+ years prior related experience
• Landscape Architecture license in good standing
• Passion for design excellence and the challenges of creating inspiring places in urban environments
• Possess creative and exceptional technical skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Illustrator and 3D Modeling
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Possess reliable transportation to access job sites and a valid driver’s license in good standing
