Job summary

Spicer Group is seeking a full-time Landscape Architect to join our planning, parks and recreation service line. The role involves developing, modifying, and reviewing drawings, serving as project manager, and working with a variety of clients on park facilities, historical buildings, and municipal projects.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture, be capable of licensure, and possess strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Ability to obtain Landscape Architecture licensure.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager and relay project information to clients and project team.
• Research requirements and provide designs for unique projects.
• Plan projects and develop conceptual plans.
• Develop final design and detail drawings.
• Develop construction specifications and contract documents for bidding.
• Keep up to date with materials, technology, and regulations.
• Make changes during planning, design, and construction processes.
• Develop solutions to technical problems with landscape architectural plans.
• Field check designs to ensure drawings meet intent.
• Assist clients in obtaining funding through grants.
