Job summary

HOK in New York is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our Planning practice in Midtown NYC. The role involves leading a full range of projects across all phases and construction administration, with opportunities to mentor staff and manage client relationships.

The position requires a professional license, a bachelor’s (or equivalent) in landscape architecture or architecture, a master’s degree may be required, and LEED credential within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture with 10 years of experience, or equivalent in education and experience.
• Master’s degree in landscape architecture or urban design may also be required.
• Registration with current license required.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Designs, reviews and guides planning projects, supporting internal team members and consultants.
• Designs and manages landscape architecture projects.
• Develops, modifies and reviews drawings for landscape architecture projects.
• Demonstrates creative thinking and contributes to firmwide design excellence.
• Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• Participates in managing client relationships and project deliverables.
• May mentor staff and direct the work of others.
