Job description

Join the V3 Team and take your career to the next level! We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Architect III to support our Land Development Group in our Charlotte, NC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil site design and be proficient in using design software to create and modify plans. Utilize your creative expertise on a variety of land development-based projects for both private and public projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research governing codes and ordinances relevant to project sites.
  • Develop site plans and designs for variety of market types, including mixed use, multi-family, healthcare, residential, commercial, industrial, education, and park and recreation.
  • Coordinate with civil engineers and a variety of other consultants
  • Create detailed hardscape and landscape designs
  • Prepare graphics, plans, and construction documents utilizing the latest advanced technology
  • Achieve design objectives and project milestones.
  • Manage and track time and expenses.
  • Learn critical thinking skills improve your knowledge of construction, design, and engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in land development, specializing in Placemaking & Hardscape.
  • A portfolio showcasing excellent design skills and creativity.
  • Proficiency AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and similar software. (Civil 3D is preferred, SITEOPS a bonus)
  • Professional license/Registration is preferred.
  • A strong work ethic and a client-first mindset.
