Bowman invites a Landscape Architect II to join our Phoenix-area team onsite in Glendale, AZ, Tempe, or Tucson. You will assist in executing landscape architectural designs on diverse projects, coordinating with engineers, architects, and clients, and supporting permitting and approvals.

The role requires a landscape architecture degree, 3+ years of experience, and progress toward licensure. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe CS, plus strong presentation skills, is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, or commensurate relevant work experience.
• Master's degree a plus.
• Three or more (3+) years of professional experience in landscape architecture studio/office.
• Progress toward Landscape Architect Registration preferred (within 1-2 years).
• Understanding of land development process and ability to contribute to housing, commercial, mixed-use and industrial site plans.
• Experience in SD, DD, and CD production including site details and planting design; irrigation a plus.
• Development of design concepts and presentation-quality graphics and illustrations.
• Preparation of construction documents, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Experience in 3D Modeling (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Lumion, LandFX, GIS/ArcView) a plus.
• Knowledge of planting design and regional materials; water-harvesting/irrigation design a plus.
• Solid understanding of site design, grading, drainage, construction methods and details.
• Portfolio available upon request; valid state driver's license and MVP check.

Responsabilités

• Lead and direct landscape architecture tasks on projects, with senior staff review for quality.
• Assist in marketing Bowman capabilities to establish new clients and strengthen relationships.
• Execute landscape architecture design on projects within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare hardscape/landscape plans for urban settings, streetscapes, parks and recreation.
• Support permitting, code research, and coordination with clients, engineers, and contractors.
• Prepare design presentations for required legislative bodies or municipality commissions.
