Job summary

HDR in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our design team. You will contribute to the creation and delivery of spaces that enhance community well-being and resilience, collaborating with architects, planners and engineers.

You will develop site designs through contract document phases, perform site analyses, coordinate with clients and authorities, and prepare drawings and specifications while thriving in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration.
• Experience with MS Office, AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Able to prepare site plans and understand grading and drainage.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop site designs through contract document phases.
• Conduct site analysis to include building operation, vehicular and pedestrian circulation, site grading, storm drainage design and site amenities.
• Meet with client representatives as needed.
• Participate in reviews with various utilities and governing agencies for code compliance.
• Conduct design development and contract document work sessions at project sites.
• Coordinate workload to ensure deadlines are met, reviewing documents for all areas of conflict with all disciplines, writing and editing site design specifications, selecting landscape and paving materials, and preparing drawings as required.
• Provide contract administration as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
