Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on planning, design, and permitting of landscape projects.
  • Prepare site work cost estimates and zoning analyses.
  • Write and review reports, feasibility studies, and proposals.
  • Manage project budgets and provide progress reports.
  • Oversee and manage staff for project assignments.
  • Directly oversee and manage staff and senior staff for specific project assignments.
  • Coach, train, and motivate staff to achieve project goals.
  • Stay current on landscape architecture practices, guidelines, regulations, and best management practices through internal training.

Project Landscape Architect Location: Dallas, TX, 75019 | Houston, TX, 77094

As the Project Landscape Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading the planning, designing, and permitting of landscape architecture, land development, and planning projects. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with discipline leadership on the planning, design, and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development, and planning projects.
  • Coordinate with staff to prepare site work cost estimates, zoning analyses, and project feasibility assessments.
  • Write and review draft reports, including feasibility studies, proposals, and technical specifications.
  • Plan, schedule, and develop task and project budgets, while providing progress reports and draft change orders.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines, minimizing write-offs by keeping projects on budget.
  • Directly oversee and manage staff and senior staff for specific project assignments.
  • Coach, train, and motivate staff to achieve project goals.
  • Stay current on landscape architecture practices, guidelines, regulations, and best management practices through internal training.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Landscape Architecture license in good standing.
  • Passion for design excellence in urban environments.
  • Creative and exceptional technical skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Illustrator, and 3D Modeling.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Possession of reliable transportation for accessing job sites and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
