The Account Manager (Client Representative) plays a critical role in delivering an elevated client experience while driving operational excellence and profitability. This is a highly visible, client-facing position that blends relationship management, field operations, horticultural expertise, and leadership.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and is passionate about delivering best-in-class landscape solutions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Client & Account ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned landscape maintenance clientsConduct regular property inspections to ensure quality, identify needs, and maintain contract complianceDevelop and present proposals, enhancements, and detailed cost estimatesCoordinate services from proposal through execution with accuracy and timelinessMaintain proactive, professional communication to exceed client expectationsSupport billing, collections, and documentation for maintenance and enhancement servicesTeam Leadership & OperationsOversee landscape maintenance crews through effective leadership of a Production ManagerTrain, coach, and develop team members on safety, quality standards, and best practicesPerform routine quality control visits to ensure work meets company and client standardsManage schedules and workflows to maintain efficiency and service excellenceEnsure accurate documentation for contracts, enhancements, and site updatesTroubleshoot field challenges and implement timely, effective solutionsHorticulture & Technical ExpertiseApply strong knowledge of Georgia plant material, turf management, and seasonal care practicesRead and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and site specificationsOversee proper use of fertilizers, pest control, and disease management programsDiagnose and manage irrigation systemsSupport installation and maintenance of low-voltage landscape lightingSales & ProfitabilityAchieve or exceed revenue and profitability targets for assigned accountsIdentify and develop opportunities for enhancements and additional servicesMonitor budgets and contribute to job costing and P&L performanceMaintain accurate estimating, tracking, and billing recordsQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape account management or operationsStrong horticultural knowledge, preferably within Georgia or similar climatesValid, clean driver’s licenseIndustry certifications (e.g., Georgia Certified Landscape Professional) preferredExperience with industry software (Aspire, CompanyCam, GeoTab) and Microsoft OfficeBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret site plans and maintenance specificationsTHE PERKS:401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceFSA / HSA optionsLife and long-term disability insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursement (after one year of service)Employee perks and discount programsPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
