Job summary

KBR is seeking a Junior Geometric Calibration Engineer to support Landsat Cal/Val activities in Sioux Falls, SD. The role focuses on geometric characterization and calibration of Landsat data and requires hands-on development of tools and techniques.

Candidates should have 3+ years in engineering and knowledge of SQL, Python, IDL, MATLAB, and C/C++. Hybrid onsite/remote work is available; US residency is required for government credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor geometry of Landsat data and calibrate as needed.
• Develop and verify tools/algorithms for Landsat calibration.
• Characterize geometric performance and report data quality to stakeholders.
• Present analysis results at meetings and conferences.
