Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Manager, Landowner Services to lead a team responsible for accurate and timely processing of landowner payments across construction and operating portfolios. The role requires strong attention to detail, financial acumen, and a controls-oriented mindset to ensure payment accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years.
• Supervisor/Management experience: 3+ years.
• Preferred qualifications: Master's in Accounting / Finance.
• Master's Degree in related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Landowner Payment Oversight: review and approve landowner payments across projects to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Team Leadership & Development: lead, coach, and develop a team of payment analysts and set clear expectations.
• Agreement & Payment Validation: understand land agreements and validate calculations, resolve discrepancies.
• Financial Controls & Payment Integrity: maintain controls around payments and support audits.
• System Enhancement & Testing: validate enhancements and test system readiness.
• Process Optimization: simplify workflows and improve accuracy and scalability.
• System Adoption & Change Management: drive system-based payment processes and reduce spreadsheet use.
• Issue Resolution & Root-Cause Analysis: escalate complex issues and drive resolution with partners.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: collaborate with multiple internal teams to resolve issues.
• Operational Excellence: establish metrics and routines to monitor performance.
