Zusammenfassung

AerSale is seeking a Landing Gear Mechanic to overhaul landing gear from teardown to final assembly within set timeframes. You will work closely with a team to ensure quality and compliance with technical data and safety standards.

Responsibilities include disassembly, cleaning, inspection with precision instruments, and assembly of components. OSHA safety protocols apply; overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in the English language.
• At minimum 2 years or more of consecutive mechanical maintenance experience.

Aufgaben

• Disassemble landing gear assemblies, clean and tag parts.
• Evaluate components for damage using calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges; grinders may be used.
• Record data and document work performed using a computer or other electronic device.
• Install bushings and assemble sub and main components to deliver a complete landing gear.
• Mask and tape parts prior to surface finishing; may process parts through plating or paint detailing.
• Transfer parts using carts and operate a large oven.
• Set up, operate, and maintain tools and equipment; follow technical data and company standards.
• Work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines.
