Gulfstream Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX, seeks an Aircraft Component Repair Tech II for the Landing Gear shop. You will repair and overhaul landing gear and hydraulic systems on current and legacy Gulfstream aircraft, reading blueprints, manuals, and engineering dispositions.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, 2 years in sheetmetal or hydraulic overhaul or related wiring and APU work, and the ability to measure with calipers, micrometers, and perform shop math.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering documents.
• 2 years experience in sheetmetal or hydraulic overhaul or related electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul mechanical and electrical assemblies per manuals and drawings.
• Set up and operate test equipment for functional tests.
• Inspect parts using blueprints and overhaul manuals to ensure conformance.
• Remove skins on flight controls and install parts as required.
• Demonstrate repair techniques and maintain relevant paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with FAA RS requirements.
• Assist with training other technicians as needed.
