Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in St. Louis seeks an Aircraft Component Repair Technician to repair and overhaul aircraft assemblies and components. The role requires reading blueprints, using precision tools, and applying repair techniques to mechanical and electrical systems.

Two years of related experience (sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, or electrical/electronic harness work) is preferred. Competitive hourly pay ranges with full benefits and a comprehensive rewards package are offered.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; able to read blueprints and engg docs.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools and interpreting engineering data.
  • 2 years in sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, or electrical/electronic harness work, or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies and components per Gulfstream Repair Station requirements.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs using blueprints and maintenance data; fabricate/replace parts as needed.
  • Set up and operate test equipment to verify functionality and return components to service.
  • Maintain FAA RS paperwork and keep work area clean and organized.
  • Assist with training Acft Component Repair I techs and escalate complex issues.
