Job summary

GA Telesis is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector based in Medley, Florida, at our Landing Gear MRO facility. You will perform detailed visual, dimensional, and NDI/NDT inspections of landing gear components to ensure compliance with OEM manuals and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, effective documentation, and the ability to communicate findings clearly. Prior FAA/EASA knowledge and experience with aviation maintenance practices are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years Quality Control Inspector experience.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145), EASA requirements, and OEM maintenance manuals.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and non-destructive inspections (NDI/NDT) of landing gear components and assemblies.
• Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products for compliance with OEM manuals, work instructions, and regulatory standards.
• Verify documentation including repair orders, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and traceability paperwork.
• Record inspection findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken.
• Conduct audits and quality checks throughout the repair process.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Maintain calibration status of measuring tools and test equipment.
• Support internal and external audits, including FAA and customer inspections.
• Adhere to safety protocols, quality procedures, and company policies.
