Job summary

GA Telesis in Medley, FL is seeking an experienced Chief Quality Control Inspector to lead our quality team at the Landing Gear Services MRO. You will report to the VP of Quality & Engineering and ensure airworthiness and inspection compliance across all repair/alteration data.

The role requires 14 CFR Part 65/A&P certification, strong knowledge of FAA standards, and English proficiency. You will supervise inspectors, manage records, and drive quality improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold 14 CFR Part 65 / A&P certification.
• Familiar with regulations (14 CFR Part 145.155).
• Knowledge of inspection methods, techniques, and tools to determine airworthiness and compliance.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee quality records as required by FAA regulation (§ 43.9 or § 43.11).
• Supervise all inspection functions and mentor secondary inspectors.
• Ensure maintenance/alterations meet FAA standards and approved data.
• Develop and manage processes to ensure airworthiness of approved articles.
• Perform preliminary inspections, functional testing, in-process, and final inspections per data requirements.
• Inspect contracted materials and maintenance components for quality standards.
• Use OEM-recommended tools and test equipment to verify work.
• Coordinate compliance with ADs, FARs and service bulletins.
• Conduct visual inspections to assess damages before maintenance and alterations.
• Ensure team performs work to high quality regulatory standards.
