Job summary

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months of construction or related experience.
• Basic knowledge to operate equipment and yard materials.
• Good communication skills at all management levels.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate landfill equipment (dozer, compactor, water truck, skid steer, backhoe).
• Screen loads for unacceptable waste and recyclables.
• Direct landfill traffic for safe delivery of waste.
• Bale cardboard and perform grounds maintenance.
• Assist with weigh scale operations and customer transactions.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and daily job orientations.
