Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Landfill to lead a team of Lead Operators, Operators and General Laborers in ensuring safe, compliant and efficient landfill operations in Morgantown, PA.

You will enforce fill sequencing, achieve density goals, and work with management to execute initiatives that drive safety, customer experience and cost effectiveness. You will oversee safety programs, collaboration with maintenance for equipment safety, and lead efforts to engage

Responsibilities

• Partner with maintenance to keep equipment in safe operating order.
• Oversee safety and accident prevention programs to ensure a safe work environment.
• Engage employees to foster a culture of safety and engagement.
• Deliver customer experience that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Resolve unusual service requests and schedule changes with timely communications.
• Interact with customers to solve issues and improve experience.
• Drive productivity and oversee labor hours and disposal costs.
• Execute service delivery while supporting maintenance and fleet operations.
• Create a collaborative team environment and develop talent on the team.
• Coach employees for advancement; align with company goals.
