Job summary

Augment in Sparks, NV is hiring Landfill Laborers to support daily operations at one of the waste management sites. This is a hands-on, outdoor role with steady full-time hours and weekly pay. You will pick up windblown debris, direct traffic for commercial vehicles, and assist with cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs.

PPE is provided and safety is the top priority. Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check; prior general labor is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Experience in general labor is a plus but not required.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick up windblown debris and litter from the landfill and fence lines.
• Direct traffic and guide commercial vehicles safely within the landfill.
• Assist with cleanup of work areas, roadways, and equipment.
• Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, sweeping, and minor repairs.
• Report hazards or equipment issues to the site supervisor.
• Help ensure environmental and safety regulations are followed.
• Assist scale house or equipment operators as needed.
