Land Use Planner - City of Easthampton

The City of Easthampton is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Land Use Planner. This position performs professional and administrative work, providing primary technical support to the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals. The Land Use Planner is responsible for the oversight and coordination of land use permitting projects pursuant to the City's Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Regulations, Stormwater Ordinance, and other applicable land use regulations. The Land Use Planner serves as the Planning Department liaison to various boards and committees and assists the Planning Director and other department staff with a variety of responsibilities, including research, data collection and analysis, grant application and administration, office administration, and other related duties as assigned.

Education And Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in urban planning, regional planning, or a closely related field; and a minimum of 2 years of closely related municipal experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Special Requirements

Valid Driver's License at hire and as a condition of continued employment. Must attend evening meets as needed.
