Responsibilities include creating boundary/topographic maps, processing GPS data, and assisting field crews. The role requires a geomatics degree and Florida licensure as applicable, with a valid driver’s license and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Land Surveyor-in-Training requires a bachelor's degree in geomatics and registration as a Land Surveyor-in-Training.
• Professional Surveyor & Mapper requires a bachelor's degree in geomatics and registration as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Florida.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License is required.
• Experience with boundary, topographic and easement mapping is expected.

Responsibilities

• Create boundary, topographic and easement maps from deeds, plats, and survey data.
• Process and check field data from conventional methods and GPS.
• Assist field crew in performing land surveying field work.
• Provide professional support and prepare scopes of work and contract-related duties.
• Provide training and participate in professional sessions or workshops.
