Job summary

Impact Recruitment is partnered with a civil engineering and land surveying firm seeking a Land Surveyor (LSIT) in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports the Survey and Infrastructure divisions, planning and coordinating survey activities, and ensuring projects meet plans, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include researching survey records, preparing plats and descriptions, establishing survey control, and coordinating with clients and engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Survey program.
• 2–5 years direct survey experience or 5–8 years related experience and training.
• Must be licensed as a Licensed Surveyor In Training (SIT) in Minnesota.
• Must possess a valid driver license and be able to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, and other records for surveys.
• Prepare descriptions and plat of survey for assigned jobs.
• Determine methods for establishing or reestablishing survey control.
• Coordinate survey plans with clients, project managers, authorities and crews.
• Ensure projects are completed according to plans, policy, and standards.
• Prepare detailed survey plats and maps for highway, streets, or utilities.
