Job summary

SEH is seeking a Land Surveyor to join the Geospatial Data Services team in Saint Paul, MN. Assist with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, and support data reduction and surface creation in a collaborative environment.

We value growth and provide licensure support, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities to travel to project sites. Base compensation ranges from $72,000 to $100,000, reflecting skill and experience.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work overtime as project schedules require.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel for projects, meetings, and overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field surveys across multiple project types, including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
• Support data reduction, digital terrain modeling, and surface creation.
• Prepare right-of-way plats, certified survey maps, boundary surveys, and other survey-related documents.
• Assist with drafting and survey computations.
• Collaborate with project teams while maintaining the ability to work independently in the field.
• Travel as needed to support project demands.
