About the position

BCSC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Land Surveyor Crew Chief to join our team, based in Charleston, SC, or Greenville, SC.
In this role, you will perform a variety of land surveying tasks, including residential surveys, boundary/topographic surveys, and construction stakeout work. You will report to job sites in your local region while your direct supervisor will be based out of our Myrtle Beach, SC office.

We are looking for a self-sufficient professional who is capable of working independently and possesses the technical expertise to manage and complete survey projects with minimal oversight.

*This position requires regular travel to project sites, but there will be no need to report to a physical office location.

Requirements:

1. 3-5 years Land Survey Experience
2. Experience in construction staking, boundary, topo, etc.
3. Familiarity with Trimble software and equipment
4. Valid driver's license with minimum 5 years driving experience and clean driving record
5. Attention to detail
6. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
7. Ability to lift 50lbs
8. Willingness to work outdoors
9. Willingness and ability to work overtime
