Qualifications

• Degree in surveying or civil engineering preferred; minimum 2 years surveying experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and willingness to travel.
• Strong math and analytical abilities for calculations.
• Ability to read blueprints and maps; familiarity with CAD/GIS.
• Commitment to safety procedures and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stakeout, topographic, and as-built surveys with field crews.
• Assist with construction staking and site layout surveys.
• Provide technical guidance to DHM staff and project teams.
• Produce maps using CAD, GPS, and GIS data.
• Travel to job sites to locate features and verify locations.
• Read blueprints and verify measurements for accuracy.
• Maintain surveying equipment and perform equipment upkeep.
• Complete tasks with accuracy and maintain safety protocols.
