Job summary

SteelAxis is seeking an entry-level land surveyor to assist in data collection and analysis for our projects. You will participate in field surveys, draft maps and documents, and perform calculations using specialized software under supervision.

A strong math or engineering background is preferred but not required. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the US are essential. On-the-job training is provided to help you grow your skills.

Job description

As an entry-level land surveyor you will be responsible for assisting in the collection and analysis of data related to land surveying projects Your main duties will include conducting field surveys drafting maps and documents and performing calculations using specialized software You will work closely with experienced surveyors to gain hands‑on experience and develop your skills in this field To be successful in this role you should have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as part of a team A background in mathematics or engineering is preferred but not required We are committed to providing on-the-job training and support for the right candidate This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1100 per month While prior experience in land surveying is not necessary candidates must possess a valid drivers license and be willing to travel within the US as needed for project sites
