NV Energy is seeking an accomplished Land Surveyor to manage all aspects of land surveying, including pre-construction and as-built work, earthwork calculations, and boundary resolutions across Nevada projects.
The role requires an ABET-accredited degree (or equivalent) with extensive field experience and state licensure or eligibility within 12 months. Candidates will coordinate with engineering teams and external firms, ensuring regulatory compliance and precise parcel mapping.
Responsible for all aspects of land surveying to include pre-construction and as-built land surveying, earthwork and volumetric calculations, field note reduction, balancing of level runs, completes boundary and sectionalized land breakdown. Performs interpreting, understanding and retracing land/legal descriptions and interpretation of descriptor calls; prepares Parcel Maps and Record of Surveys and other duties as assigned.
PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
General office environment. No special physical demands required. Some travel may be required.
