Job description

A Survey CAD Technician will draft surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D based on information gathered in the field from the land survey crew.

Essential Functions

1. Preview survey field notes and field data, and prepare surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
2. Read and interpret property descriptions, maps, surveys, and other field documents.
3. Communicate with the land survey crew in the field and clients to ensure deliverables are met.
4. Follow company standards for drawing creation and presentation.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Position Details

This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but availability during standard work hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) is required.

Physical Demands

This position is largely sedentary. Employees are regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, and hear.
