Job summary

The WLB Group, Inc. in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Project Surveyor to lead mapping and surveying tasks in our civil, boundary and construction projects. Proficiency in Civil 3D is required, with a track record on ALTA surveys, final maps and parcel maps.

In-person role based in Las Vegas, NV, offering comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly rate. You will review plans, coordinate staking, and engage with clients and local municipalities on survey deliverables.

Qualifications

LSI or PLS preferred.
Strong mapping experience with local municipalities.
Strong legal description preparation.
Strong knowledge of Civil 3D.
Strong knowledge of GPS, RTK, static & post processing skills a plus.
Strong background in construction calculations for staking.
Some proposals, marketing & client relations.
Boundary research at various local jurisdictions & BLM.
Construction coordination meetings.

Responsibilities

Prepare ALTA/NSPS surveys, final maps, parcel maps and easements.
Review project specs, architectural, structural and civil drawings for staking.
Coordinate construction staking and field procedures on projects.
Support proposals and client communications as needed.

A local fast paced growing Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Planning & Construction Management firm is seeking a highly motivated experienced project surveyor for our local Las Vegas office. This position will require proficiency in Civil 3D and will report to the Director of Surveying. A successful applicant will have been able to demonstrate a history of strong mapping and technician skills. This position requires a strong knowledge and ability to prepare various types of mapping including but not limited to ALTA Surveys, final maps, record of surveys, parcel maps, easement preparation, construction staking calculations and the ability to review different types of construction documents including but not limited to project specifications, Architectural plans & details, Structural Plans & Details, Shop drawings including bolt & steel drawings, Civil site drawings, Civil roadway drawings, plan and profiles & utility drawings. Our current projects range from boundary topo, ALTA/NSPS surveys, Construction surveys for residential, commercial, large industrial and high-rise projects.
