Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Land Survey Intern to join a surveying team supporting boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys for land development projects including residential subdivisions, commercial sites, and mixed-use communities.

The role offers hands-on opportunities to apply surveying coursework, learn field equipment operation, and assist in deed research, data collection, and plats/exhibits preparation under licensed Professional Land

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, management, and field crew members.
• Willingness to learn in a flexible, cross-disciplinary work environment.
• Willingness to attend site visits and perform work in outdoor field conditions, including exposure to varying weather and terrain.

Responsabilidades

• Assist field survey crews with boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys for land development projects.
• Assist in operating robotic total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and other survey instrumentation under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor.
• Perform deed and record research to support boundary retracement and title review for development sites.
• Assist in processing field data and preparing survey drawings, plats, and exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support preparation of legal descriptions, easement exhibits, and subdivision plats for review by licensed surveyors.
• Travel to project sites to collect field data and coordinate with survey crews, contractors, and clients.
