Control Point Associates is seeking an experienced Crew Chief in our Southborough, MA office. Essential Functions:

• Perform all phases of field surveying, including Construction Stakeout, Topographical Surveys, Boundary Analysis/Stake Out, and As-Built surveys, using tools like Trimble, Leica, Spectra robotic total stations, data collectors, auto-levels, GPS RTK Units, wireless communications, and 3D Laser Scanners.
• Conduct field calculations and sketches; download and verify data, ensuring accuracy of survey documents.
• Maintain and care for all company equipment and vehicles, ensuring setup is secure and safety protocols are followed.
• Self-organize and motivate when working alone; supervise and motivate instrument operators when assigned.
• Represent the company professionally and communicate regularly with customers on-site.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of successful surveying experience in a managerial role.
• High School Diploma, strong math and computer skills.
• Willingness to expand skills and adapt to new technologies.
• Proficiency in field coding for auto linework.
• Ability to obtain additional certifications (OSHA, Hazwoper, TWIC, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work overtime and travel with overnight stays if required.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for 8+ hours daily, and work in various weather conditions. Fieldwork may involve busy streets or construction sites with loud noise. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Estimated pay range: $30-$35+ per hour.
