Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years in land/right-of-way or real estate with landowners, engineers, developers, and/or agencies.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS preferred.
• AA/BA/BS in business, law, communications or public relations preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to interface with all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand engineering drawings and alignment sheets to verify property locations.
• Coordinate with mapping/drafting to locate encroachments on company alignment sheets.
• Retrieve land files related to encroachments as requested by field personnel or land management.
• Scan, print, and copy large-format drawings.
• Record and prepare encroachment information for land records and files.
• Interact with landowners, developers, municipalities, and agencies regarding encroachment requests.
• Maintain encroachment database and tracking information.
• Prepare Letters of No Objection Encroachment Agreements and related documents with supervision.
• Process lease payments and update payment information in land records.
• Interface with Field Contract Agents and accounting regarding invoices and 1099 issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
