Martin Marietta is seeking a Land Manager to oversee owned and leased real estate in the southern East Division, primarily in GA, FL, AL, and TN. The role includes negotiating leases, acquisitions, coordinating due diligence with legal and tax teams, and managing royalty payments. It blends office work with frequent site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, real estate, land use planning, land/energy management.
• 5+ years of experience in land management.
• Experience with AutoCAD and ESRI GIS software.

Responsibilities

• Administer lease processes with management, legal staff and owners to negotiate leases/amendments.
• Administer property acquisition and divestiture, negotiating purchase agreements and coordinating due diligence with legal, tax and accounting teams.
• Coordinate with accounting to ensure timely royalty payments.
• Develop/maintain relationships with property owners.
• Manage lease conditions and critical dates.
• Assist with zoning, mining and reclamation plan updates.
• Assist with zoning permits renewal and renewal activities.
• Assist with due diligence for green site development and divestiture.
• Maintain the corporate land database.
