Living Carbon is seeking a Land Acquisition Lead to identify and secure land parcels that fit our site criteria and environmental goals. You will build a pipeline by engaging landowners and advisors, and present partnership proposals to close deals.

In this role, you will collaborate with forestry, finance, supply chain and legal teams to ensure site readiness and compliant agreements, travelling to target regions as needed.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in land management, land acquisition, or related business development.
• Demonstrated expertise in outreach, relationship building, and negotiating.
• Willingness to travel and reside within driving distance to Midwest, Southeast, or US Appalachian Region.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and catalog land parcels using Living Carbon’s criteria and screening tools.
• Establish contact with landowners, confirm site suitability, and build a pipeline.
• Prepare proposals and close land deals with partners.
• Build relationships with land advisors, regional experts, and industry groups.
• Improve the site-qualification and landowner engagement process.
• Collaborate with forestry, finance, supply chain, and legal teams.

Additional Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with land advisors, regional experts, and industry organizations.
• Master and continuously improve the Living Carbon site qualification and landowner engagement process.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams including forestry, finance, supply chain, and legal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in land management, land acquisition, agricultural leasing, business development, or sales.
• Demonstrated expertise in outreach, relationship building, and advanced negotiations.
• Must live within driving distance to the Midwest, Southeast, or US Appalachian Region.
