Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forestry training at a vocational college or equivalent experience.
• Outstanding safety record in all aspects of previous employment.

Responsibilities

• Support the land management forester.
• GIS collection, reporting, and maintenance of land ownership data.
• Prepare tracts for harvest.
• Supervising and auditing road building activities for long-term management.
• Acquire tract access, correct adverse possessions, and minimize threats to timber.
• Property inspections.
• Timber harvest setup and supervision.
• GIS mapping and data management.
• Hunting lease inspections.
• Private landowner communication.
• Assisting in company-wide projects such as cruising and burning.
• Attend police jury meetings.
