Job summary

Legend Homes is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to lead the financial planning and analysis for land acquisition and development. You will oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling, delivering insights to support growth and profitability across markets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA a plus.
6+ years in financial planning and analysis.
3+ years in real estate development or real estate finance; land development experience preferred.
Joint Venture and Acquisition & Development financing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for land projects across markets.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support land purchases, development, and capital allocations.
Partner with accounting and land development teams to maintain budgets and cash flow projections.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with strategic objectives.
Prepare monthly land financial reporting package including variance analysis and management reporting.
Evaluate investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.
Analyze IRR, NPV, and profitability metrics for land projects.
Serve as primary finance partner for Land Acquisition and Land Development leadership.
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting.
