Job summary

JR Engineering seeks a Team Lead for Land Development to lead a small team, manage projects, and coordinate with the Department Head, Group Manager, and Project Manager. The role requires delivering accurate designs, cost estimates, and schedules while mentoring junior engineers.

The candidate will oversee QA/QC, ensure utilization targets, and interact with clients and regulatory bodies to meet project goals. A Civil Engineering degree and solid leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Colorado PE license (preferred).
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability for a 2-6 person team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate priorities and deliverables with Department Head and Project Manager.
• Lead the Land Development team, oversee QA/QC and utilization targets.
• Mentor Project Engineer and Design Engineer; provide direction and training.
• Review designs, cost estimates, models, and reports for accuracy.
• Maintain schedules and submittal logs; ensure on-time project delivery.
• Interact with clients and regulatory agencies as needed.
