Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in site civil engineering, preferably with commercial projects.
  • PE license is required for this role.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Design and prepare deliverables for multiple land development projects, ensuring successful completion within timelines and budgets.
  • Utilize organizational and scheduling skills to track project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate permits, approvals, and clearances for project execution.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and identify future opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • PE license is required.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
  • At least 5 years of experience in site civil engineering, preferably with commercial projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail in engineering documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; advanced studies preferred.
  • 5-9 years of professional experience.
  • Pre-employment drug screening; background checks may be required.
Performance Expectations
  • Submit and deliver annual employee performance appraisals.
  • Train backup personnel.
  • Comply with all company policies and ISO requirements.
  • Manage staff work routines and assignments.
  • Meet or exceed utilization targets (75%-80%).
  • Participate in regular project meetings.
  • Complete tasks on time and within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with other practices and consultants.
  • Operate within budget parameters.
  • Prepare agreements and external requests as needed.
  • Provide technical oversight and serve as task manager on projects.
  • Conduct site visits, gather data, and prepare design documents.
  • Review and approve shop drawings.
  • Complete annual training programs.
