Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB) seeks a Land Development Intern for Summer 2027 in Worcester, MA.

The program introduces students to the workforce with hands-on learning across planning, design, permitting, and fieldwork, building professional skills in a supportive environment. You'll collaborate with staff and clients, assist in planning and engineering solutions, data mining, field data collection, and report preparation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in transportation, land development, urban design, real estate, environmental, institutional, or energy sector
• Ability to work on a computer remotely if necessary
• Ability to travel locally and complete fieldwork if necessary

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with numerous VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner
• Assist in development of planning and engineering solutions
• Assist in data mining and visualization
• Perform analysis of data or calculations
• Perform field data collection and other on‑site project support activities
• Prepare written documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports
