Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB) invites students for a Summer 2027 internship at our Providence, RI office. The role focuses on land development engineering, from initial research and site surveys to design and permitting, with collaboration across disciplines and consultants.

Interns will assist in planning and engineering solutions, data mining and visualization, and on-site project support. Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential, with opportunities for

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an engineering or related field.
Strong interest in transportation, land development, urban design, real estate, environmental, institutional, or energy sectors.
Ability to work remotely if necessary.
Ability to travel locally and perform fieldwork if necessary.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner.
Assist in development of planning and engineering solutions.
Assist in data mining and visualization.
Perform analysis of data or calculations.
Perform field data collection and other on-site project support activities.
Prepare written documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports.
