Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Land Coordinator for the Ocala Division to assist in land development, acquisitions, and related tasks. The role supports timely completion of projects within the Land Department and requires coordination with attorneys, vendors, and HOA boards.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree and 2–3 years of related experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a Fortune 500 organization.

Qualifications

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with land development, acquisitions and land/lot purchases.
Run various land reports.
Oversee file setup, distribution and maintenance.
Coordinate HUD approval for specific projects.
Generate purchase orders for land acquisition and development work.
Prepare weekly Funding Requests for land acquisition contracts and coding sheets at closing.
Assist with Land permit processing and track permit status.
Order surety bonds and letters of credit; assist with contract questions.
Act as liaison with Homeowner's Associations and prepare HOA documents.
Manage and update project budgets.
Oversee monumentation, site elements and design themes.
Work on projects as delegated by the manager.
